Get up and running

01 — Getting Started

Add a vehicle, then start logging

No account, no cloud, no sign-in — Viaxen Log opens straight to the Garage. Add your first vehicle with a name, category, and meter type: odometer (km/miles) for cars, motorcycles, trucks and buses, or engine hours for boats and heavy equipment. A persistent active-vehicle switcher at the top scopes Garage, History, Reminders, and Reports to whichever vehicle you're working on.

02 — Logging an Event

Twelve types, only the fields that apply

Tap a log type and the form only asks for what that type actually needs — fuel wants liters and an odometer reading, tires want position and size, documents want an expiry date. Attach a receipt photo or a free-form note to any entry.

All 12 log types

Fuel, Service, Parts, Tires, Repair, Expense, Document, Inspection, Incident, Trip, Battery, Custom

03 — History

Every event, one continuous timeline

Every fuel-up, service, repair, part swap, tire job, expense, and document for the active vehicle lands on one timeline, newest first. Tap any entry to reopen the full form exactly as you filled it in, receipt photo and notes included.

History

Scroll back through a vehicle's entire maintenance life, not just recent months.

04 — Reminders

Date, mileage, hours, or whichever comes first

Set a reminder by date (registration, insurance), by mileage or engine hours, or as a hybrid that fires on whichever condition is met first. Viaxen Log evaluates every reminder against your live meter readings and sends a local notification the moment one comes due — the list is sorted by urgency, so the thing you can't afford to miss is always on top.

Overdue → Due now → Soon → On track.

Logging a document with an expiry date offers to create its reminder automatically — no need to set it up twice.

05 — Reports

Know your cost per kilometer

Log a fuel-up and Viaxen Log computes distance since your last fill, fuel efficiency, and cost per km automatically from your odometer readings — no calculator required. Reports then roll everything up by month and by category (fuel, service, parts, expenses) so you can see at a glance whether a vehicle is getting more expensive to run over time.

Per vehicle, so a multi-vehicle fleet never gets mixed together.

06 — Backup & Restore

Your logbook, your file

Settings → Backup exports your full logbook — every vehicle, log, and reminder — to a file you choose where to save. Restore brings it back on the same or a new device.

Two things to know

  • Backup and restore is supported within the same platform — Android to Android, iOS to iOS. Moving a backup between platforms isn't supported yet.
  • Photos attached to vehicles or logs aren't included in the backup file.

07 — Remove Ads

One purchase, every device

Remove Ads is a one-time, non-consumable purchase via Google Play (Android) or the App Store (iOS), available from Settings.

  • Purchase: Settings → Remove Ads → confirm via Play / App Store
  • Restore on a new device: Settings → Restore Purchase
  • Refund: handled by Google Play or Apple — Viaxen doesn't process payments directly
  • Once purchased, the launch ad disappears and the app runs fully offline — every logbook feature was already unlocked
